The Life of our Lighted Pour Spouts: Many people ask us how long do Bottlestars last? Are they reusable, can you replace the batteries?
Bottlestar is an inexpensive item meant to be used for as long as possible then either thrown away or used as a regular pourspout. They are disposable and you should not try putting a new battery in them.
LifeSpan: We have done many tests on our product and here is what our research has provided:
Blinking (Slow or Fast): Bottlestar will last for 7 days before completely fading out. After 5 days, Bottlestar will slowly begin to dim. If you let it blink all night then turn it off, it should last around 1 month.
Solid Lit: Bottlestar will begin to dim after 5 hours on solid lit. It will go out completely after about 12 hours. If you turn the Bottlestar off after 5-8 hours and let it sit for 12 hours you will get another full 5-7 hour use out of it.
